Family Ministry (Women’s Ministry)
The Family Ministry Team is led by Jody King and Valerie Call. The members of this team look out for the needs of our church family and reach out to others to help meet those needs. The team lines up volunteers to provide meals for church members who have been hospitalized, or had a new baby. They also recognize a family of the month and provide special gifts for them. Family Ministry also organizes Dinner with Friends, a program to promote fellowship among the families of crossroads. They are always looking for other ways to show love to our church family.
Community Service (Women’s Ministry)
The Community Service team is led by Colleen Holt. The members of this team look for needs in our community and get volunteers to help serve. We have helped serve in the BAMA Food Pantry, sponsored a clothes drive for the local clothes closet, and promoted the Operation Christmas Child shoe box drive. Our goal is to be aware of needs in the community and be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving.
Social Events Team (Women’s Ministry)
The Social Events Team is led by Kristy Stewart. This team plans retreats and other outings. Their goal is to promote unity and friendships among one another in fun environments.
Special Events Team (Women’s Ministry)
The Special Events Team is led by Kelly Baucom and Leeandra Chandler. This team plans events for women hosted at Crossroads Church. Some of the events that we host are the Priscilla Shirer live simulcast in the spring and the Living Proof Live simulcast in the fall. Our goal is to invite women in the community so that we can impact as many as possible with the good news. We also host Women’s Ministry Fellowships throughout the year and invite guest speakers to share with us.
Senior Adult Ministry (Women’s Ministry)
This team is led by Kelly Baucom. Its members support middle and senior adult ladies by developing friendships, communicating often, and planning special outings.
